Suggestions for the Lazy Lady of the House

The small tasks of the house will not disappear even if you have Molly Maid on the payroll and you might not be able to get together with your best friends in order to chat about Martha Stewart’s latest endeavors. Even if you decide to pay the Flying Broom service to clean and dust your furniture, you will eventually have to learn how to take care of a house once the cleaners have left.

The Martha Stewart shows and others of the same kind made most of the women watching them feel like they do not have the faintest idea of how to be a real woman of the house. You were only able to burn those boiled eggs while Stewart was baking delicious banana breads and tasty casseroles. At the same time when she busied herself planting some lovely flowers in her garden, the withered roses in your vase at home turned from red to black as they should have been taken to the trash can a couple of weeks ago.

The last thing you are thinking about doing is washing up and making the beds as you have enough money to pay a cleaning service  and you usually spend 10 hours per day auctioning off second hand books on eBay. Unfortunately, the problem is not solved because you have three kids and an absent-minded husband who turn the house upside down. What is worse is that the cleaning service only comes two times a week and that is not enough for your house to stay spotless. Having said that, what to do about it? It is not a big deal to put things in order if you find the proper place to start and have all the necessary cleaning solutions.

All bathrooms should receive the treatment Mr.Clean is ready to give. Without its help, cleaning the bath tub and sink would be a handful, so it should always be handy and ready to use. Just pour it on a cloth and wipe away the Cover-Girl traces on the counter. It should not be that difficult to keep the bathroom spotless and shiny if you just use some of that Mr.Clean or Clorox and a cloth.

When it comes to the kitchen, you should definitely go for Comet, which is extremely efficient in cleaning the kitchen counter or the sink to get rid of those unwanted food scraps. All you should keep in mind is that the house can be cleaned with a few moves, provided that you have all the necessary cleaning agents to help you with your work.

In order to save time and always find what you are looking for, have cleaning supplies in strategic places. Place them next to  paper towels and you will not have problems turning the place clean quickly and effectively. Do not forget to have a bottle of Clorox in the room where you do the laundry and another one in the kitchen. Deep cleaners such as Mr. Clean or another kind must also be placed both in the kitchen and the bathroom, as well as in the rooms where your children usually play. Remember to buy Murphy’s Oil Soap and place it in areas where you have furniture made of wood in order to just grab it and use it when the time comes.

Ajax or Comet cleaners are highly important in the kitchen and bathroom, where you can use them to wipe away even the thick dirt on the bath tub or sink. It is as simple as that: if you want to have a clean house in a second, keep the cleaning supplies close and ready to do the work for you right away!
